The Laboratory rigorously attends to the cooperative research works. Members actively take in a part of the International and domestic bird research focused on breeding biology, ecology, and conservation of Mongolian bird. The following International research projects and field works were conducted by members of the laboratory and society in Mongolia collaborating with foreign research institutes, organizations and ornithologists for last years.

Ornithological field researches were initiated and conducted by our members together with domestic and International governmental and non- governmental organizations such as the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Nature and Environment, Mongolian Ornithological Foundation, Mongolian State Agriculture University, "Khustai" National Park, Mongolia and National Avian Research Institute, UK, Royal Society for Bird Protection, UK, Oriental Bird Club, UK, Halle-Wittenberg University, Germany, Yamashina Institute for Ornithology, Japan, Wilhelmshaven Avian Research Institute, Germany, Czech Radio, United Nations Development Program etc...
Most members of the laboratory work at the Mongolian Ornithological Society. These organizations have been leading the main research and educational activities for new generation of Mongolian ornithologists.
